Credit Risk Analytics, the portfolio analysis
A critical step to company’s growth is the knowledge of partners, clients and competitors, implementing a business plan based on in-depth portfolio analysis.
Unfortunately, this process is still underestimated, particularly by SMEs, which often lack resources and tools necessary for a systematic analysis of their business partners’ economic performance, and are therefore exposed to risky situations.
s-peek Team is a collaborative tool for the credit risk management, helping companies to refine their own financial strategy. It allows users to share data, information and analysis within a preset team of colleagues and includes a Credit Risk Analytics function that shows graphically the portfolio financial analysis.
A bar chart reveals the distribution of the companies in the portfolio per rating class, while the user is able to compare into other line charts the average rating class of the last three years obtained by the companies per:Per ogni analisi un diagramma a colonne indica la distribuzione delle aziende in base alla classe di rating, mentre grafici lineari indicano la classe media ottenuta dalle stesse negli ultimi tre anni per:
- MORE credit rating: the credit rating class assigned by MORE, modefinance’s methodology for credit risk assessment;
- Solvency: the ability of a company to meet its long-term financial obligations;
- Liquidity: referring to how easily assets can be converted into cash;
- Profitability: a company’s revenue capability within a specific time frame.
The Credit Risk Analytics section allows both the evaluation of the whole portfolio’s performance and the analysis of a specific group of companies with similar features.
Different filters are available to carry out in-depth analysis per categories, from the company’s dimension, to the rating class and the amount of the credit limit. Label and sector code are among the most useful filters: the first one allows you to select all the companies with the same label (such as clients, suppliers, competitors, etc.), while the sector code identifies each company’s industry and thus permits a sector comparison.
